Write On Readings fosters the voices of emerging writers in Toronto who are interested in showcasing their dramatic work, while also engaging the communities of West Toronto, particularly that of Bloor West, Roncesvalles, the Junction, and the Junction Triangle in dialogues about theatre, storytelling and the performing arts.
We are in our second year of showcases that draw audiences of artists and friends of the neighbourhood out to support writers in their community. As well, each showcase has featured a guest musician. All events are sponsored by businesses of the neighbourhood generously allowing us to pay our artists.
Our curated showcases happen once quarter on a Tuesday night, at Junction City Music Hall (2907 Dundas Street West). For more information please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
